Mediation is a fast, economical, private way to resolve disputes. It's a process in which the parties, along with a trained impartial mediator, explore issues and generate options which lead to the creation of solutions which will work for all parties. If you feel that mediation might be an avenue for you to pursue in order to resolve your dispute, please call us for more information: 1.830.792.5000 or email us
The HCADRC offers the 40-Hour Basic Mediation Course once a year. Our last course was over two non-consecutive weekends in August and September of 2008. The cost of that course was $550.

The HCADRC will also be teaching the 30-Hour Advanced Family Mediation Course in February of 2009. Twenty-four hours of classroom instruction will be held on Friday through Sunday, 20-22 February 2009. In addition, six hours of co-mediation of family law cases with one of the instructors will be required for the course completion certificate. The cost of this class is $350.

Both courses meet the standards established by the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable. Payment of half of the tuition is needed to save you a seat in one of these courses, and the remainder is due on the first day of the course
